He’s a 23-year-old, studying at the University of Düsseldorf for International Business and Law. He plays the violin, drums, sings, and now has also picked up acting. His name is a mix of his initials and where he’s from (Germany).
How did it all start?
CJ began playing the violin at the age of 4, as an addition to his carnatic vocal lessons, which he was already learning. He is also a drummer. His music teacher is G J R Krishnan. His parents always encouraged him to take up various forms of music, in addition to the traditional forms, which really paved the way for his various interests.
“Of course friends and family are my number one support system, but as the days go by my fans have been a great inspiration for me. Their love an support has proved as a great motivation.”

“I have various projects underway with several artists in the European music industry, as well as Malaysia . For now I am taking it a day at a time, and my music does take a lot of my time. I am on the road travelling, participating in various concerts all over Europe. After the release of Kangal Rendum Pesuthey, I also recently discovered my love for acting, which I will be further pursuing. “

Student to teacher?
I teach my family friends, when asked, and it’s a small group of children. I don’t want a profit, I just want them to love what they do and promote their musical talents.

“I am grateful for the love and support and it’s the fuel that keeps me going with all the challenges I am facing and will face!”
